apparently, people in Calgary are unaware of what is meant when one says, "EVERYBODY is invited".

apparently, it translates into, "Please, nobody show up for my party!"

regardless. i had a super night with irene (whom i've known for over 16 years), and then my husband came by halfway thru the night (even though he HATES bars) because somehow he KNEW no one would show up.

it's ok though. as optimistic as i was, i guess i knew no one would show up. it's not like it's never happened before. i know who loves me, and it's all good.
