Hey, is there such a thing as a ‘delayed hangover’ ? seriously, cuz I feel like absolute CRAP today. Went out for “a pint” on Saturday, which turned into an all day booze-fest. We ended up ordering 3 pitchers of beer. Between the two of us. Oh, did I mention that the girl sharing this with me only weighs about 130 lb. Ya. I’m practically TWO of her. But damn, skippy…can that girl ever hold her liquor! Anyway…I had to be up for work the next day, and was a little scared to open my eyes. Turns out though, that I didn’t have a hangover at all! Woot!

This morning, however, I really do feel like I’ve been steam-rolled. I was even in bed for 10 p.m. last night!! So wtf?! I think I might still be recovering from last week. I got very little sleep last week. It wasn’t pretty. I also think a lot of it is stress. Man, I friggin hate stress.

Also…to whomever came to work this morning without showering and/or putting deodorant…GO HOME NOW!!! Gah. It kinda smells like somebody maybe used a beef & onion flavored fabric softener on their clothes. As much as I love having a freakishly good sense of smell, there are some days when I would give ANYTHING not to be able to smell the humanity around me. Of all the things in the world I’ve smelled…I have to say that some of the worst ones are man made. People STINK. (on that note though, I have to say I am sooooo very happy about the no-smoking-in-bars law! To be able to go to the pub, and not come home smelling like an ashtray at a bingo hall! Yay!)

I really should get back to work, although it’s hard to focus in this horrifying fog of B.O. I need to be out of here by about 3:55 at the LATEST. My dog has another vet appointment this afternoon, so they can measure her lump….again (for the amazing deal of only $35!!). seriously. It seems criminal to charge me $35 to look at her leg, and measure the lump that has not changed even a little bit in the 2 months since they saw her last. Especially considering I will be handing them several HUNDRED dollars in a couple of weeks to have the lump removed. *sigh* the things we do for loved ones, huh? Even when they drive us crazy and make our house smell like PEE.

Ok. Really, there is probably a ton more stuff to update. But the thought of typing any more than I actually HAVE to at this point, is making me really queasy. Hopefully, everything goes well this afternoon, and I can start on my updating tonight. Actually, considering how much extra work I have coming up this week…it may be a while before I get around to typing something FUN again.
