so, there you go. apparently that's what a native Albertan with English parents sounds like.

but then again, it depends on what day it is, how tired i am, and who i've been listening to all day. i have a tendency to pick up ppl's accents. it's to the point, actually, that when i was visiting in Virginia, after a day and a half, i couldn't even remember HOW to talk Canadian. kinda unnerving actually.

While no one has ever asked me if i'm from Wisconsin (or Chigaco, actually), i do actually call a carbonated beverage a "pop" (which they found hilarious in Virginia, for some reason).

they really should make up one of those quizzy thingies for us canadians.
